We can’t wait to step on the stage tomorrow night. Thanks for always making that an amazing time. It will be a night full of new and old, fresh and so clean, soft and loud, slow and fast, fast and furious, Barnum and Bailey, cats and dogs, chutes and ladders, and spaghetti and meatballs. Basically, you will want to be a part of this encore experience.
The show is at our favorite venue (The 40 Watt) in our favorite city (Athens) on our favorite day (Thursday night) at our favorite time (8 pm) for our favorite cost ($5) or our second favorite cost ($7) if your under 21.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so the new t-shirts will be on sale for our third favorite price of $10. If we don’t sell all of these shirts then they will compose our entire wardrobe for the next 5 years.
All kidding aside, thanks for your support and we’ll see you there.
The nitty gritty.
The dirt.
The goods.
Boom.
Good times.
Thanks Ryan.
The song of surprises.
Here’s how it went down.
The new album is up on iTunes.
Thanks for listening.
Why does The Less exist?
Because these five guys have found that we love music and we love hope. Our goal is to connect people to the gospel and that will never change. However, due to the fact that lead singer Adam Courtney has decided to pursue a career in ministry, we have come to the conclusion that this will mark the end of making music as a band. We consider ourselves to have been some of the lucky ones, and we thank you for making it all possible. Although we will be moving on to a new chapter in our lives, we hope that our music has encouraged and inspired you. We are extremely grateful for everyone who has believed in us and supported us over the years. We hope you’ll keep listening.
We are all given gifts in this life and The Less is one we are very glad to have stumbled upon. Thanks for allowing us to grow in pursuit of a dream. We will never forget the melodies and the memories.
The last three ways to experience The Less in action:
-Farewell Show at the 40 Watt in Athens, GA on January 19, 2012.
-Live Concert Video to be released in early 2012.
-Compilation Album on iTunes to be released on December 27, 2011.
The continued delay of the official release of our album, “Lights,” has forced our hand at attempting a few different creative processes. Along with the filming of a live concert we will be releasing an acoustic EP.
The tracking started with trying some unique drum sounds.
As always, thanks for sticking with us.
You don’t really want to see me.
I’m on the back of a ship and I’m sinking slow.
